To help educate investors on covered warrant trading, SG has created the  UK's very first virtual covered warrant trading facility. This platform allows you to “paper-trade” SG covered warrants without risk.

This platform allows you to build and manage a virtual covered warrant portfolio. All profits and losses are fictive so there is no financial risk involved.  Live prices and additional information on our products and services can be found on our main website: www.warrants.com

Every month you will have a virtual £10,000 pounds to trade SG covered warrants. This amount may be virtual but all warrant prices will be based on actual market prices. You will also have the possiblilty to enter limit orders to enhance your warrant trading strategies. 

TRADING

On the first day of each month, you will have a virtual portfolio credited with £10,000 to trade. Each executed trade (a buy or a sell) will be charged a flat £10 virtual broker commission. There are no limits to the number of trades that can be undertaken. The minimum trading size in all cases is one warrant.

Contestants will be able to trade all SG covered warrants and tracker products, with trades executed in real time. Trading will take place during official London Stock Exchange trading hours - 8:15am- 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. No extended trading hours are permitted.

Both "AT market" and "Limit" orders will be permitted. With an "At Market" order, a participant will enter the number of warrants they wish to trade and, if they have sufficient funds, the order will be executed at the prevailing market price. Buy orders will be executed at the "ask" ("offer") price. Sell orders will be executed at the "bid" price.

Limit orders are "no worse than orders", i.e all buy orders will be executed at a price below a price pre-fixed buy the contestant and all sell orders will be executed at a price above a pre-determined price.
